The National 18ft Class held their Irish National Championships over the weekend of the 2nd/3rd June. Eleven boats competed in this very competitive class with Ewen Barry helming “D’Good, D’Bad and D’Blaster” and his crew of Stanley Browne and Dion Barrett coming out as winners. David O’Brien, Race Officer for the event held 8 races in over the two days. Second place was “Shark Eleven” – Charles Dwyer, Robbie English and Gratttan Roberts. In third place was “50 Shades” helmed by club member Nick Walsh and his crew of Rob Brownlow and Ed Rice.
