Peter and Rob O’Leary recently competed at the Star Europeans hosted by Flensburger Segel Club, Germany. Seventy one boats from 15 nations competed in the four day event from 9th to the 12th August.
A thunderstorm came through the fleet on Saturday August 11th during racing but that did not deter the 33 boats that managed to finish with the O’Leary’s taking the race win. There was no more racing that day. Six races finalised the Europeans for this year. The O’Learys were never outside the top ten which secured them the bronze medal.
